‘Constant trauma’: After 2 post-insurrection suicides, DC’s top cop has mental health woes

A second officer who had been injured as a result of the attack on the Capitol has died by suicide, Acting Police Chief Robert Contee for the Metropolitan Police Department announced during a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
